Descrizione
Il Chirocentrites è un genere estinto di pesci marini con pinne raggiate nell'ordine Ichthyodectiformes. Contiene una singola specie, Chirocentrites coroninii.
Diffusione
Cretaceo superiore (Cenomaniano) della Slovenia (località talvolta indicata anche come Gorizia, Italia). Un potenziale esemplare è noto anche dal Pietraroja Plattenkalk di età Albiano dell'Italia meridionale, ma è stato suggerito che questo esemplare rappresenti in realtà un Cladocyclus.
